At Home on the Range by Darrel and Sheila Ottun

This a compilation of stories written by Darrel and Shiela about their growing up years. They write about their families, hardships and communities joining together to get the job done. Many of the stories take place right here in Custer County and describe the problems many families faced, the way that communities worked together and the simple pleasures that were enjoyed by all. Darrel and Sheila included many family photos, genealogy, and their own love story that is still being written as they continue to live in the Round Valley Community near Sargent, Nebraska.
